The Guild headed off on its annual day trip on Thursday, June 11 to the lovely county of Fermanagh to visit Florence Court House and gardens. These are romantically named after the wife of Sir John Cole. The Palladian style house was painstakingly restored by The National Trust to its original design after a fire in 1955.
The Guild was given an escorted tour and history of the house and discovered the many quiet and beautiful corners of this estate by exploring the pleasure grounds, Walled Gardens and Rose Garden. |
